Literacy & Arts Program

Tues – Thurs : 4:-6:p during the school year

The Literacy & Arts Program is a partnership between RPC, Hope House, and community partners and is for school-aged children. Statistics support that children thrive and benefit from both being read to and reading to others. During our time together children practice reading or get help with homework for the first hour, and then work with community partners teaching music, yoga, and theater for the second hour. Each child is fed a snack. If you are interested in volunteering with the Literacy & Arts Program, please email the Church at

Renaissance Presbyterian Church works with Hamilton County Schools, the community, and other local organizations to help provide assistance to families with children over the holidays. Often serving up to 500 families a year, Renaissance members ensure each child receives gifts, warm clothing, and sometimes food for a Christmas meal. We are grateful to our community partners and volunteers who help us each year. If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to
